PUBLIC NOTICE

The Selection Committee for the Village Hall Architectural & Design Services Request for Qualifications (Project No. EN2001) will conduct a public meeting in the Village Meeting Hall Conference Room, 1050A Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411 on Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 2:00p.m. until 4:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary, to hear oral presentations and to interview responders.  In accordance with Section 286.0113, F.S., the portion of the meeting during which the actual responder oral presentations and interviews will be conducted is exempt from the requirements of Section 286.011, F.S., and shall be closed to the public.  The entire meeting will be recorded.  The recording, of and any records presented at, the exempt portion of the meeting shall also be exempt from Section 119.07(1), F.S. and Section 24(a), Art. I, Fla. Const., until such time as the Village provides notice of an intended decision or until 30 days after the opening of the proposals, whichever occurs earlier.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Selection Committee with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  The Village of Royal Palm Beach does not provide such a record.  This Notice does not constitute consent by the Village of Royal Palm Beach for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
