Requirements for a Contractor's Registration
Contractors must meet the following requirements in order to obtain a Contractor's Registration in the Village:
If your business is based outside of Palm Beach County you must provide the following:
- Business tax receipt from the county where your office is based
- General liability insurance (must show Village of Royal Palm Beach as certificate holder)
- Royal Palm Beach Application
- State license
- Worker's compensation or exemption (must show Village of Royal Palm Beach as certificate holder)
If your business is based within Palm Beach County you must provide the following:
- General liability insurance (must show Village of Royal Palm Beach as certificate holder)
- Palm Beach County countywide business tax receipt
- Royal Palm Beach Application
- State license or County Competency Card
- Worker's compensation or exemption (must show Village of Royal Palm Beach as certificate holder)

Contractor applications for the Village can be found in the west wing of Village Hall along with a staff that will be happy to answer your questions about the process. Village Contractor Application packets can also be found by going to the Document Resources webpage. Village Hall is located at:
