INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Okeechobee Boulevard Light Replacement will be received by the Village of Royal Palm Beach at the office of the Village Clerk, 1050 Royal Palm Beach Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 up to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at which time they will be opened and read in public. The envelope containing the bid shall be marked “Street Light Fixture Replacement to LED - Residential Areas - PW2102 - Opens 3:00 P.M., Thursday, August 4, 2022”.

Project Description:
Purchase and delivery of LED Cobra Head street light fixtures. All material to be supplied and delivered as specified in the bid documents.

The Bid Documents will be open to inspection at the Clerk's office. Bid documents may be purchased after noon on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from the Village of Royal Palm Beach, ATTN: Village Clerk, 1050 Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, Florida, 33411 at the following prices, which are non-refundable:

Complete Set: $5.00 Packaging & Mailing Charges / Set: $5.00 (Project Manual)

Contract documents may also be delivered electronically via email at no cost by completing a Bid Package Request Form

The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The Village further reserves the right to award the contract to that bidder whose proposal best complies with the bid specifications and will best further the interests of the Village.

Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified bank check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidder’s total price indicated in Bid form if the bid exceeds $50,000.00.

No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids except as otherwise provided in the Instructions to Bidders.

In accordance with F.S. 287.133 (2) (a), persons and affiliates who have been placed on the convicted vendor list may not submit bids, contract with, or perform work (as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor or consultant) with any public entity (i.e. Village of Royal Palm Beach) in excess of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars (or such other amount as may be hereafter established by the Florida Division of Purchasing in accordance with F.S. 287.017) for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.
