Rules and Regulations
Hours: 8:00AM - 9:00PM

 

Participants skate at their own risk and should ride within their own ability. Per Florida Statute 316.0085, the Village of Royal Palm Beach is not liable for any accident or injury resulting from the use of the Royal Palm Beach Skate Arena as a participant or spectator.

  • This Skate Arena is unsupervised; therefore, the Village will not be held responsible for accidents.
  • Skateboards and in-line skates are permitted.
  • Helmets and safety equipment are highly recommended.
  • Profanity and/or reckless behavior will not be tolerated. Failure to comply with any rule can result in suspension of arena privileges.
  • Food, beverages, wax and gum are not allowed on the deck surface.
  • NO SMOKING or VAPING in the skate arena or surrounding area.
  • NO graffiti, stickers or littering.
  • NO pets allowed.
  • NO outside obstacles or materials such as: ramps, jumps, parking stops, trash cans, picnic tables or benches.
  • Village staff has the discretion to close the facility due to inclement weather or for any unsafe condition at any time.
  • Spectators are not allowed on the skating surface.
  • In case of emergency, call 911 or report any discovered safety hazards to the Parks and Recreation Department at 561-790-5124.
  • Do not use if surface is wet.
  • Skating against traffic flow is dangerous and can cause serious injury.
  • Modifications to the facility and the use of wax or accelerants are prohibited.
  • No motorized vehicles of any kind.

Use of this facility is a privilege. Abuse or violation of the rules or any conduct deemed inappropriate by Village staff may result in facility's closure.
